Shyam Parekh
Veteran journalist-editor and media educator, Shyam has nearly 30 years of experience in media and communication fields. He specialises in training journalists and teaching journalism, designing and launching newspapers and other media products. He has established newsrooms that continue to churn out hundreds of stories every day, 365 days a year. Shyam has written thousands of news articles in multiple newspapers that he worked with. He launched and headed English daily DNA in Ahmedabad for the Dainik Bhaskar Group, for over a decade. Prior to that he worked as a senior editor with DNA in Mumbai. At the start of his career he worked with The Times of India for a decade. Shyam is also a founder of Gujarat's first, largest and the most popular literary event, Gujarat Literature Festival (GLF).
Jumana Shah
A journalist and writer, Jumana has worked with print, TV and digital mediums over the last two decades. She dives into the depths of her curiosity to bring out of the box ideas and effective solutions for Kakko Media’s diverse clients. She has worked with Times of India, DNA, Dainik Bhaskar and India Today. She is a visiting faculty at multiple institutions to teach journalism and effective communication. She also designs curriculum for journalism institutes to prepare skilled youngsters for employment.
